PRE-PREP SONG and DANCE
Let us tell you a tale of the bottomless blue and it's hey, to the starboard, heave ho! Look out lad, a mermaid be waiting for you.
Down in the depths of the ocean they live.
The Pre-Prep concert is always the highlight of the year. To see how hard the four and five year olds are working to remember their words
and to see how much fun they have singing, dancing and reciting poems. We try and give them as much exposure to drama and music as we can,
for these years are the foundation of performances to come. They learn how to dance, sing, recite, creative movement
and to play musical instruments to the rhythm of songs.
Our theme this year was, "Under the Sea" – we had so much fun being pirates, sharks, mermaids, island boys and turtles.
On the concert night, you always have a surprise or two, some taking their costumes off, waving constantly for mom and dad,
others hitting their friends with their musical instruments, well…it's showbiz!
SAVING CHRISTMAS
(GR.0 Nativity Play)
Christmas has been cancelled after Santa's Book of Names was stolen. The Grade 0 boys presented 'Saving Christmas' our annual Nativity Play.
They are the foundation of the school and conducted themselves with confidence and pride.
A special force of young boys is sent to "Creeps Valley" on this very important mission to find it. How is Santa going to drop off
the presents if he doesn't have the childrens' names and addresses? On their journey they find themselves in the midst of the real Christmas story.
THE MAGICAL TREASURE CHEST
(Gr.1 School Play)
A couple of boys looking for adventure stumbled across a chest filled with old costumes and props.
Little did they know the Magical Treasure Chest contains magic…
The magical treasure chest takes them on a journey off adventure, where the world of make-believe comes to life!
MADAGASCAR (Gr.2 School Play)
Spoiled by their upbringing with no idea what wild life is really like, four animals from New York Central Zoo escape,
unwittingly assisted by four absconding penguins, and find themselves in Madagascar, among a bunch of merry Lemurs.
With the colourful décor and beautiful costumes, the Grade 2 boys had no choice but to have lots of fun performing Madagascar.
It’s wild out there!
A LITTLE MAGIC GOES A WRONG WAY
(Gr.3 School Play)
King Julian the 4th's son has been kidnapped by evil witches to get their revenge. The best teams have been appointed to find the Prince.
But with a magic spell that has gone wrong, everything is not quite as it seems…and a little magic goes a wrong way.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium
(Gr.4 School Play)
Now, this is one of my favourite stories, written by this guy, Mr. Magorium. His job was to print all the books ever written.
Mr. Magorium's story is reaching it last chapters, but that's okay, for all stories have to end.
Everything went according to plan, when the unexpected, unexplainable happened…
Mr. Magorium vanished, before his story ended. Will they find him in time!?
