Grade 6 Boys Learn About Biodiversity

We Can Make a Difference!

The Grade 6 boys went on a field trip to the Botanical Gardens where they learnt about biodiversity. The 7 biomes were researched with particular emphasis on:

* Grasslands
* Succulents
* Forests

The best part of the trip was being able to see, smell, and feel the different plants that belong to each biome. The boys realized that they could all play a vital part in ensuring that our beautiful planet is saved for future generations.

Science comes alive when the boys are able to have 'hands on' experiences with their curriculum!
