WHPS and Bathokwa Workshops

WHPS and Bathokwa have close ties as part of our outreach programme and spending time with them is always such an enjoyable experience.

The Bathokwa workshop was on 19 February and, yet again, the children from this needy school had a fabulous time at WHPS.

The children were divided into 3 different groups and participated in music, art and drama activities. They learnt some wonderful percussion techniques from Craig and Damian, made necklaces with Karen and had fun with mime and face painting with Ms Fouche and Ms du Plooy.

After a light lunch a bunch of satisfied children went back to their school. We know this day is a highlight on their term calendar, as it is on ours. Sharing our wonderful facilities with these children teaches us as much as it does them.
