WHPS Grade 7 Tour to the Air Force Museum.

The Grade Sevens left early on the morning of the 8th of April 2008 on an excursion to the Air force Museum. We walked passed huge planes on our way to the lecture hall. The boys then listened to a presentation about the history of the South African Air Force.

After the talk, we were fortunate to see some old planes and guns. We were also shown to three huge hangars with planes and helicopters in. The boys were all amazed by the sheer size of these machines. Soon after this, the Grade 7 group, were taken on a tour around the base by a parent from WHPS, who is also a pilot.

To end the excursion, all the boys enjoyed a tasty lunch and some energetic fun on the runway before we went back to school.
