Grade 2 – A Visit from a Pilot

Grade 2 – A visit from a Pilot: Last week the Grade Two boys were treated to a visit from a pilot. Mr Glenn Botha, one of our Grade Two dads, was kind enough to spend the morning with our WHPSians, teaching them about the science of flight, as well as informing them just what it takes to become a pilot. The boys had many questions for Mr Botha and he patiently answered each one. This talk was certainly a highlight for our boys and was the perfect way to conclude our theme on “The History of Flight”. How excited the boys were to receive a model aeroplane and a buff from Mr Botha – I am sure these toy planes will be treasured for many years. Thank you, Mr Botha.
