Whippets Friendship Day

The Whippets have had such fun celebrating Whippets Friendship Day. The week started off with a puppet show all about Valentine Bear. He was kind and caring and showed the boys and girls how to be a good friend, show concern for others and to be loving. The Whippets sat riveted throughout the show keeping social distance while listening attentively. The week ended with lots of excitement as the boys and girls wore red, white or pink to school, enjoyed ice cream and made beautiful friendship crowns. The year promises to be an awesome one, knowing that we are surrounded by love and special people in our lives, who care. In the words of our dear friend Winnie the Pooh:

‘A friend is one of the nicest things you can have and one of the best things you can be’.
