Drama – Grade 2 Play

Drama – Grade 2 Play: I had the great privilege of directing The Jungle Book of Nelspruit with both classes. I explored themes and messages about brotherhood, perseverance, and respect. It was a unique and special journey of evoking these jungle creatures from the boys. They were incredibly excited and eager to learn and grow. I was particularly impressed with how the boys quickly learned their lines and remembered their blocking. We had a lot of fun and laughter during the rehearsal process. I look forward to getting to know the boys better for me to unearth more potential and performance energy from the boys. It was fantastic to have parents in the audience witness the children’s progress. I am super proud of both the Grade 2 classes and their enormous spirit!
