WHPS Senior Inter-House Tennis
The WHPS Senior Inter-house Tennis Round Robin took place recently. The boys arrived smartly dressed, with their house vests on to give of their best.
Each house displayed exemplary manners and tennis etiquette. The morning proved to be a hot one, but the boys persevered and fun banter and team spirit could be heard from the courts.
Three rounds of matches were played. Each match was the best of nine games. Well done to Ruddell House who were the overall winning champions for the day! Followed by Carter House, Lloyd House and MacRobert House.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have hosted this sporting event as the boys and staff had good fun. Thank you to Mr Craig Hoyer and Mrs Clarenda Visage for a well-organised and eventful morning. Looking forward to many more going forward.
The sport department at WHPS ensures that the boys at are keeping active and continue to develop their skills. During the first term the boys have continued with cricket, swimming, tennis and squash practice sessions. Physical Education lessons and Ludi (cross-country lap around the school) ensure that the boys work on their core, balance and fitness to name but a few outcomes. Inter-house fixtures have ensured that the boys receive match experience and practice.
If you would like your son to enjoy the opportunities that WHPS has to offer, please make contact with us and submit your application. Please click here to navigate to our Admissions page where you will find more information and can apply online.
