WHPSian Poem – I am a WHPSian

WHPSian Poem – I am a WHPSian – By Sheldon Topham (Grade 4)

I am a WHPSian
I wonder how the school looks now
I hear the school bell ring
I see the fountain at the entrance
I want to put my uniform on
I am a WHPSian

I pretend that it’s break time and I can play with my friends
I feel lonely at home as a result of COVID-19
I touch my mask
I worry that things will never be the same
I cry because rugby season is no more
I am a WHPSian

I understand that this pandemic shall pass
I say HOORAY
I dream that it’s time to go back to school
I try my best with the online approach
I hope to see my teachers and friends really soon
I am a WHPSian.
